The Tannery in Fes, Morroco

Here's a good video explaining how a tannery in Morocco works.  Fun to hear the guide in his thick Moroccan accent explaining the colors and what the workers do, plus a good overall view of the main part of the operation.  Tanneries are key to the Moroccan economy, although they are not as prevalent as they used to be. The largest tanneries are this one here in Fes and also in Marrakesh.  Very impressive in size and the amount of workers.  This was during the winter (in January 2014) when the tannery is only being worked with 1/4 the amount of workers normally in the summer.
