| Surf's up! |
The south of Portugal is amazing, and definitely different from the other parts we visited. Here are a few photos from the coast. Loads of pictures of small towns and old city walls and intricate churches, but I'm a sucker for the ocean, and so these are the pictures you get to see right now. Pretty amazing power in the waves on one of the days we were there. The family and I almost got stuck on a beach when the tide came in mighty quick and locked off the exit for a few minutes. Good entertainment to get everyone scrambling for dry rock with water all around. You should have seen it. Oh, and we celebrated the mom's birthday down there on the 31st. So although she got a lot of love that day, and fireworks at midnight, Happy Birthday Mom!
